Design Specifications
The broken lines on the above illustration indicate perforations.
Perforation specifications are as follows:
Density 12 per inch Length 1/16″ Gap 1/32″ (between perforations) Perforations must be stamped on the sheet, preferably at the time of die cutting. This will ensure perforation registration and balance with respect to backliner edges, as well as consistent dimensions.
Perforations must be applied/stamped onto the backliner/inlay card from the backside.
Top and bottom edges of backliner must be perpendicular to the side edges at their intersections. (Typical in four places).
A paper scoring process must not be used in lieu of perforations. All non-perforated backliners will be deemed rejectable by eDoc Publish and returned to the customer.
Paper stock thickness must be between .0046″ and .0060″. However, the thickness must not vary by more than .0003″ for each order
The appropriate compact disc logo should appear on all backliners to assure customers that the product referenced complies with the applicable international standards to which eDoc Publish manufactures.
